Turns out your brain and muscles are sneaky little hoarders—they never really forget you, even when you take a long vacation from life (or the gym). Neuroplasticity and muscle memory are basically your body’s way of saying, “I got you, don’t worry, we’ll remember how to move.” So yes, that rusty push-up form? It’s just sleeping, waiting for its comeback tour.
